1. What AOB Assist is (and isn't)

AOB Assist is practice-administration software that helps you prepare and store Assignment of Benefit agreements. It is not legal, billing or medical advice, and it is not a medical device. Verify agreement wording, MBS item numbers and your compliance obligations independently (bundled MBS items are editable samples only).

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered, for obtaining valid patient agreement, and for retaining records as required by law (including the 2-year retention requirement measured from when the claim is made).

3. Your data is your data

All data stays on your device; we cannot access, recover or restore it. Maintain your own backups/exports. Loss of your device or data is not something we can remedy.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed via your Apple ID and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in App Store settings; free-trial terms are shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies.

5. Warranties and liability

AOB Assist is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law (nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded).

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

AOB Assist is an independent app. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by Services Australia, Medicare, the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, or any other government body. "Medicare" is used only to describe the relevant government program.
